Building A Simple MiniSite

by Dan Farrell

Building a letter is very for the growth of your home based business. There are many different models you might consider. There are theme content pages, resource letters, and mini letters, to just mention a few. We will be talking about the most elementary model, the mini-site.

What is a mini site? This is a very simple 1-3 letter made to sell your product or service. It will be your sales page and a couple of letters for your product.

It's purpose: is simply and solely to focus your visitors on your message and ready to buy without the aid of anything but your sales page and affiliate program.

These web pages are extremely simple to create and can be built from nada in a matter of hours. Here are the steps to do this:

1. Find a domain name: this will need to be relevant to your service. The name should alert visitors so they understand exactly what your home based business is all about. Use your central keyword for any domain name. Search engines like .com, .net, .biz and .info. See if you can get .com, .net, .org and then .biz and .info in that order.

2. Your sales headline most always also use your main keyword or phrase if it's possible.

3. Put meta tags in, these will be just your title, description meta tags.

4. Choose a template. You can either gather a web template this from your HTML editor, or get one yourself. You can do a google search for a free one.

5. Write or have written a persuasive sales page. Do everything so this type of letter is useful you should have good converting sales page.

6. Make an affiliate program for Joint Ventures and affiliates. Put a hyperlink in your navigation box for visitors to enlist in your free affiliate program. Be sure you have a good, trustworthy tracking system.

7. Create a hover ad for your newsletter subscription box. You can at times obtain this from your autoresponder. A hover ad merely slides in from the top and the reader. This will not take away your readers focus of the sales page but will provide a chance to subscribe your free newsletter.

8. Drive traffic to your mini-site. There are three main tactics to get traffic. Search engines, links and inviting web visitors. You can do this with passive, direct and social marketing. This topic is another discussion. increase web traffic

How to best use a mini site:

· Selling your own product: To make this kind of minisite effective a good sales page is important. You may even want to hire a professional to do this. You can bid a project at several programs.

· Pre selling an affiliate program: It is important not to try to sell an affiliate program but rather you will need to persuade your web visitors to click through to your product's site. Product reviews are brilliant for this, or employ an informative promotional article.

· An uncomplicated lead generation site. This can be used for direct response marketing and pay per click campaigns, like Google Adwords. They will also assist as a very good way of tracking click through as well as sales conversion. Either a sales page or you could use a helpful article will be excellent for these types of a mini-site.

· You can also use them for precise niche market web pages. They most likely will be based on a keyword or phrase that is high in demand and without heavy demand. Many times I use a minimum or 500 searches per month and 2 million results. You can get much less competition with lower searches and one of the ways I use is with keyword research

Mini web pages are quick to make and can be very profitable. Try to stay focused on 1 particular niche when creating these web pages. Do not put up too many at a time as Google will penalize you. Space a week in-between, so that Google does not think you are trying to spam the search engine.
